I interviewed some of the BEED students and I asked the question how did Educational technology help them in their final demonstration and their answers is common they said that
educational technology help them to deliver the topic more easier. The second question i asked is what educational technology materials they used, and this are the materials being mentioned Lop top,radio,DVD player . And this materials help them a lot from their demonstration.
One also of the student I interviewed says that. Educational technology as one of our subject have helped me much especially during my practice teaching. It is where i have learned not just to use but how to use,prepare and select materials that
suit the level, intelligence and experience of the student. I learned how to make my instructional aids more appealing and interesting which led my student to have a fruitful and permanent learning. I avoid the the purely verbal procedure. instead, I used varied instructional aids such as chart, diagram, maps, pictures, realias, videos and not to omit chalkboard.
Using varied instructional aids such as audiovisual materials helps minimize monotony which promote boredom that results in unfavorable attitudes towards learning. If they interests are to be sustained, students have to develop desirable attitudes toward their learning activities. Upon interviewing I realized the importance of Educational technology in delivering a topic in a classroom. It makes the discussion easier and it is very helpful to the part of the teacher. Educational technology also arouse the interest of student to listen which may lead to a unforgettable learning.
